The games are customisable to use any set of pictures and sounds, but please don't stop there! - There's a good reason that no direct word for word translations are made. Try using the games to supplement whole texts or stories which place the vocabulary in a context. Select the key vocabulary from a specific paragraph or chapter and use the games to support and prepare for listening, following and reading that whole text. Avoid using the spelling game (Discover) until students have first identified the words or word groups in the main text and understood their meaning in context.
